Meet Joybyte – the social media marketing service that drives growth for consumer brands by increasing social reach and engagement through joyful interactions. As a Social Butterfly, you are a highly-organized and time-managed individual with a keen eye for details, a passion for building relationships, and a go-getter attitude. Through this role you will be working directly with the Joybyte Kaleidoscope team of Social Media Strategists, Account Managers, Content Writers, and Graphic Designers by providing support to the daily activities required to execute social media marketing strategies. This role is the perfect opportunity to build upon social media marketing skills and gain exposure to a digital agency.

How to Be a Great Social Butterfly

  • Solution-based thinker: In this role the Kaleidoscope team is relying on the Social Butterflies to execute planned activities without getting behind. The ability to think quickly, communicate when there is a blocker, and problem solve quickly is key to maintaining trust and accountability within the team structure.
  • Self managed and reliable: Daily activities are pre-planned and scheduled each week. The ability to work independently and maintain accountability to completing scheduled tasks with quality will set you up for success in this role.
  • Attention to detail: It’s important to maintain thoroughness and accuracy when tackling tasks. Editorial content is time sensitive and it’s important we avoid the amount of checking, revising, and supervision required to complete a task.
  • Creative writing: Our clients rely on us to represent their true authentic voice when posting to social media. The ability to create engaging content and a strong sense of brand voice is key in this role.

Key Responsibilities of a Social Butterfly

  • Maintain pro-activity and reliability within team environment
  • Grow and nurture a digital community on behalf of our clients through brand advocacy and community engagement on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Nurture influencer relationships and handle influencer partnership requests for long term client success
  • Posting to social media platforms and daily quality control of social media posts
  • Respond to comments and direct messages while maintaining brand voice and public image in a timely manner
  • Monitor comments that may compromise brand image
  • Pay attention to details in the use of grammar, spelling and the written word to reach out to customers in different demographics and verticals
  • Occasionally work with external customer service teams to respond to customer concerns quickly and politely across all brand level social platforms
  • Drive community engagement to support UGC, ideating and executing campaigns
  • Support partnerships, contests, and marketing partners as it relates to social and digital content

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field preferred
  • Highly organized with strong follow through in time management, prioritization, attention to detail and reliability.
  • Excellent communication skills, relationship building skills, a true “people-person”
  • Keen skill set for problem solving and thinking outside the box for solutions
  • Personable and willing to work collaboratively
  • Motivated, goal-oriented attitude with the ability to excel with minimal supervision
  • Strong, creative communication skills necessary to communicate on behalf of our clients and maintain brand voice
  • Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytic tools knowledge
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, work independently, organize workload, and possess a strong ability to multitask
  • Proficient with Mac and G Suite presentation products
